2010-Spring :
We finished 1 and 1 on the weekend at the College of Mount St. Joseph. With temperatures in the low 20’s and surrounding piles of snow over 4 feet high, this was “perfect” lacrosse weather. We suffered a disappointing loss to MSJ. The loss can be blamed on only getting to warm up for 2 minutes prior to game time or playing man-down for the majority of the contest, you choose. While it was disappointing we quickly put it behind us and were prepared to take on our next opponent, Purdue. We started out the game neck and neck until we took complete control. Clears were excellent, proper communication was evident, and overall teamwork was impeccable. Some of the game’s highlights included: Sean Headhunter Stirsman’s bone shattering hit as a result of Purdue buddy pass, Jared Gonzales’ multi-goal performance (that he refused to smile about), and Brian Powell getting the chance to rub it in the face of his old team.
